2025 UIM XCAT World Championship - Fujairah GP - Pole Position 1

Scott Williams and Martin Campbell are the first pole-sitters of the season in the waters of Fujairah. Team GB, which ended last year’s championship in Dubai with a pole position and a race win, has once again proven to be the fastest boat on the water.

In second place, we have the team of Shaun Torrente and Mikhail Kitashev, representing the UAE but bringing together an American and a Russian, symbolizing a message of unity and peace in the world.

Rounding off the front row in third place are the reigning World Champions, the Schiano di Cola brothers, racing for Fujairah’s home team.

🚤 Race 1 is set for today at 3 PM local time (GMT +4).

Meanwhile, Friday also saw the Speed Cat Run, a thrilling one-kilometer head-to-head drag race where boats hit speeds of over 170 km/h. The knockout-style competition culminated in a final showdown between:

-    Team Victory – with Emirati drivers Salem Aladidi and Eisa Al Ali
-    Team Blu Banca – featuring Italians Serafino Barlesi and Andrea Comello
